Rena Jackson, Owner
I'm Rena Jackson, owner and founder of Rena J Artistry and Rena J Cosmetics located in the great city of LaPlace, La. I was born and raised in Lutcher, La., and I am a graduate of Aveda Institute.

I've always had a strong passion for all things beauty. At an early age, I witnessed my aunt teaching my older cousin how to do hair and how to apply makeup to her clients. This sparked my interest in the field of makeup.

Upon graduating in 2013, I began providing makeup and hair services part-time under the name “Rjbrushes" (later rebranded to " Rena J Artistry") while maintaining full-time employment as a MAC makeup artist. Three years later, I decided to "jump" into my passion full time. I view makeup as an art form, treating each makeup application as unique as my clients themselves. I have an undeniable passion and vision to develop Rena J Artistry into a unique beauty brand. I accept that my brand is in God’s hands and that He is leading me to a successful future.
